The tropical environment and peaceful surroundings...

For many of the clients, the garden provides therapeutic and educational value. Food (vegetables and fruit) is grown on the property and is nourished by rainwater that is collected and recycled for irrigation. In addition to providing consumable produce for the residents, the garden also provides an opportunity to instruct residents on ecological and conservation principles. |

Former clients built this structure for La Posada.
La Posada is a safe haven for all of God's creatures. Resident clients help care for the shelter animals: two dogs, five cats, and several chickens that were donated to the shelter.
The hens lay seven to nine eggs each day.

A La Posada resident completes his own shelter
project for the resident chickens.
