La Posada operates with a small full-time staff. Therefore, the program director relies on a volunteer ministry because daily demands of the 24/7 year-round shelter often exceeds the abilities of the full-time staff to adequately manage.
The five full-time personnel consist of: the program director, client coordinator, program assistant, client mentor and a volunteer property steward. The property steward position duties are still managed by a seasonal volunteer working full-time for as many as six months and various other volunteers on a part-time basis. The property steward position is shared among the seasonal volunteer, clients, and volunteers from the community and the Sisters of Divine Providence.
Support services (accounting, development, and public relations) are an in-kind gift of the sponsoring Providence Ministry Corp. of the Sisters of Divine Providence.
