La Posada provides assistance to more than 400 individuals each year, but we can't do it alone---we need your help. You can donate, A gift of $20 provides transportation for clients on any given day to and from needed services. A gift of $35 provides group recreation for a month (such as movies and ice cream). A gift of $60 keeps the office running for a week with supplies, telephone service and postage. A gift of $75 buys nutritious groceries for 10 clients a week, to supplement the garden produce and Food Bank staples. A gift of $100 provides two clients the opportunity to improve their job opportunities by taking a computer course. A gift of $125 connects clients to social services by providing a portion of the client coordinator's weekly salary. A gift of $250, the cost of an annual Internet subscription, links clients to news about their homeland and the latest developments in immigration laws. A gift of $500 provides training for a staff member to help clients with legal forms. A gift of $1,000 provides monthly room, board and incidentals for a full-time in-service volunteer.
