Special Visit from the President
On Monday, March 7, 2005 , President George Bush and First Lady Laura Bush paid a visit to the Providence Family Support Center . They spent about 30 minutes visiting with the children in the After-School Program and with teens in the new Teen Program. The visit was made in conjunction with the Administration's new $150 million initiative focusing on at-risk youth which is being led by Mrs. Bush. As you can see from the photos, the children enjoyed their special visitors. They received photos of the First Pets, Scottish terriers Barney and Miss Beazley.
