The Sisters of Divine Providence, Marie de la Roche Province, celebrated with Sister Veronica Kim as she professed Temporary Vows on December 8, 2004 , the Feast of the Immaculate Conception at a 4 p.m. liturgy in the Mother of Divine Providence Chapel in Allison Park. Sister Veronica came to the Marie de la Roche Province from Seoul , South Korea . She earned a bachelor's degree in nursing from Chodang University in South Korea and worked in the field at Ujungbu St. Mary University Hospital and Chungju St. Mary General Hospital, a diocesan facility. Sister Veronica's mother, three sisters and one brother remain in South Korea . Sister Veronica now begins the next step in her journey toward Final Vows. During this period, she will integrate theory and experience in commitment with the community. The final step of incorporation is the profession of Perpetual Vows, at which time Sister Veronica will profess to live her commitment to the vows for life. She encourages women who might be considering religious life with these words: "Religious life brings God's presence, love, peace, and joy to life. When we choose this life, we can feel God's providence and love in our daily life. Have courage to bring God's presence into life!"
