The Sisters of Divine Providence have established houses of hospitality whose purpose is to invite women to come for “live in” experiences. Both the sisters and the Inquirers live together and share activities such as prayer, meals, housekeeping, relaxation time, and the “adventures” religious life provides. Women who opt for such experiences are asked to meet certain requirements and make a monthly donation to help offset living expenses.

Located in Madison, Illinois, just minutes from downtown St. Louis, Quest House is situated in a multi-ethnic, integrated and modest-income neighborhood. Daily mass at the local parish is available to those in the house, in addition to communal prayer, faith sharing, and days of reflection. Women who feel called to religious life are welcome to live in with the sisters and experience their way of life, actively discerning their call. For more information, contact Sister Linda Hylla, CDP, at srlindahylla@hotmail.com.
