People have many reasons for why they choose to contribute to the Sisters of Divine Providence with their financial support. Here are just a few people and their reasons for supporting the Sisters of Divine Providence:
From Jerry Hubbard
"As a teacher in a Catholic high school, I contribute to the Sisters of Divine Providence as a means of expressing my gratitude to them for my career.
Time and time again the Sisters extended to me their understanding, wisdom, compassion, professionalism, expertise, advice and encouragement. . . . The Sisters' willingness to share their belief in God and humanity enabled me to realize that I had an obligation to teach the whole person. They showed me that each student that entered my classroom had an inherent dignity that came from God and that God had placed each student in our life for a reason.
As long as I am a teacher I will remain in a Catholic high school. I caught the spirit and the wisdom that drove the Sisters to create schools based on their wonderful vision of education. I am most grateful for all that I learned and for the great joy that I get in spreading their spirit and wisdom."
From Virgil and Mary Jane Koechner
"One of our favorite charities is the Sisters of Divine Providence.
We both were taught by the Sisters in the 1940's and early 1950's. How well we remember what good teachers they were and the values we learned from them, which we carried with us throughout our lives.
We will remember 'the Sisters' in our will."
