Programs

Child Care Programs and Services


We offer care for children ages 6 weeks to 3 years in a loving, learning environment.
Our preschool teachers help children ages 3-5 become independent and ready for kindergarten.  Through our Clubhouse for Kids, care is available for ages K-5 before and after school, on teacher in-service days and during the summer. Our after-school enrichment program provides homework assistance, recreation, work on literacy and pro-social skills, and healthy snacks, plus art, computer and other activities. Summer day camp includes recreation, art, prevention program, activities to enhance literacy, self-esteem and pro-social skills, and educational and cultural field trips. Breakfast, lunch and a snack are provided.

Providence Teen Program


Twice-weekly sessions for youths ages 12 and up focus on academic success, job preparation, prevention of drug and alcohol use and teen pregnancy, healthy lifestyles and community service. Dinner is provided.

Adult Programs and Services

Home Visiting


Our Family Development Specialists meet twice a month with families who have children under age 6, providing parent support, problem-solving and age-appropriate activities for children.

Parents Night Out


Once a month, we offer parents an evening out with dinner and social or recreational activities. Separate programming is provided for children.
Education Opportunities
Classes are held in six-week sessions to help parents improve their own lives and become better mothers and fathers.

Parent Council


Parents who participate at the Center play a vital role in shaping the programming we offer. Parent Council meets once a month to help with decision-making and governance issues.

Family Programs

Family Fun Night


Following dinner, families can enjoy creative activities and games that strengthen the family unit and demonstrate ways to share valuable time together.

Holiday Celebrations


We celebrate all the major holidays with our families, giving them an opportunity to develop their own traditions and spend special time together.

Parent-Child Together Time


Fun activities are planned for parents and their children (up to 5 years) to share quality time together.

Field Trips


With the support of Tickets for Kids, we periodically offer outings to local cultural events.
